Holiday in our homeland

We rented a cabin where dogs are allowed and there where sheep right behind the courtyard

We had a farmstead as a neighbour with cows which where let on the pasture every morning. The kids loved to watch the cows going unto the pasture, which was right behind the pasture of the sheep. The sheep where from the family we rented the cabin from and we where allowed to feed the sheep. The kids obviously loved that. The sheep are very small and kept in a group of 10 in two different colours. The breed is named ouessant and originally come from the region Bretagne in France. We instantly loved this breed and think of keeping a few of these sheep in the future. Especially I loved there wool. This looked very soft and fine. The owners did not have any wool left. They have not been able to sell the wool and always just trough it away. Such a shame. I am going to ask if they are willing the sent me some wool if I take the cost for shipping.

Here are some pictures of the sheep.
